Riverside Middle School visits the newspaper

A group of students from the Riverside middle school Beyond the Bell program came to the newspaper last week. The goal was to learn about how a newspaper is done. After the tour and questions the students returned to school to write about their experience. The following is the story they wrote. 

“The middle school Beyond the Bell summer camp kids were going to the Basin Rustler, to learn about the process of how the newspapers are made. 

The Beyond the Bell summer camp kids were Makayla Christopherson, Coralee Landis, Amarathine Unruh, Harmony Hopkin, Kaleb Christopherson, Quentin Danner. They learned about how Barbara Greene made stories and sent it to Lovell, who organized it into a newspaper and sent it to Cody to print it. They send a truck to pick it up and bring it back to the Basin then they have a bunch of volunteer high school students and Jany Sam to organize the papers into bins. 

The bins are labeled for each town and are sent to other towns in Wyoming. At the end Barbara” Miss Mean” Greene said, “Have a terrible day.”
