Riverside Rebel trapshooters excited about new season
Riverside High School’s shooting team is in its fourth year competing in the Wyoming Clay Target League.
With 10 shooters on the roster and nine returning from previous years, the Rebels are excited to see how the season goes.
“It’s always enjoyable to see how each kid improves from year to year, and this year will be no different,” said Coach Calvin Brown. “With so many returners, it will be a fun year for us. We have three seniors who will be the first kids that have competed all four years on the team. They have greatly improved over the years and we are excited to see where they end up this year.
“We are thankful for the opportunity to offer this experience to kids in our community and also for such a cooperative and supportive Gun Club board that goes above and beyond to make it possible.”
The first week of competition is next week.
