Roger M. Curtiss

Roger Michael Curtiss, 75, of Woodstock, Ga., and formerly of Basin, Wyo., passed away Dec. 28. 

When he grew up, he excelled in sports. He loved playing the guitar and had a black belt in Karate which he constantly used on his little sisters. Later he attended South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.  

Roger served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War in aeronautics.  

He is survived by his wife Debbie V. Curtiss; sons Joshua M. (fiance’ Osiris Trejo) and Joel S. Rogers (Cathy) and two grandsons; sisters Connie Reinig (Mike) of Helena, Mont. and Sheri Hartman (Phil) of Basin, Wyo.; brothers-in-law Russell Wenke of Cody, Wyo., and Chuck Hopkin, Basin, Wyo.; many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, DuWaine and Lauriena Curtiss, and sister Vickie L. Wenke.  

He will be laid to rest with full honors at a veterans’ cemetery on Jan. 15.
