Sarah Suzanna ‘Sue’ Robinson Thaxton

Jan. 15, 1937 – Aug. 13, 2015Funeral services for Sarah Suzanna “Sue” Robinson Thaxton were held Aug. 18, at the Greybull/Basin Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sue, 78, died Aug. 13 at South Big Horn County Hospital.She was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Papinsville, Mo., the daughter Charles Coleman and Flossie Kathyrine Williams Presley. She received her schooling at Laramie and Manderson.She married Jack Thaxton on July 9, 1988, in Santa Rosa, Calif. She worked as a CNA for many years.Sue was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 3086 in Basin, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and siblings and loved to read. She also enjoyed collecting owls.Her parents, her husband, Jack Thaxton, and six siblings, Wanda Mae Presley Mendoza, Dortha Pearl Presley Whittaker, Charles Wade “Buddy” Presley, Alvin Austin Presley, Robert Calvin Presley and Freddy Virgil Presley, preceded her in death.She is survived by her children: Dan Robinson of Bremerton, Wash., Debra of Evanston, Tina Marie Whitlock of Casper, William DeLoatche Robinson of Texas; siblings, Delbert Lanyl Presley, Bessie Kathyrine Wallace, Alnetta Jolene Williams, Bonnie Delores McDonald, Edwin Eugene Presley, Lela Juanita Harp-Ingersoll and Flossie Marie Rissler; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Burial was in Mount View Cemetery.
