Save your metal tabs to make a difference

Chamber Chat

Make a difference about something other than yourselves.”  — Toni Morrison.

The chamber is taking on a new project that you can easily help with. Save the open/pop tabs from your canned drinks, canned meat, canned cat/dog food, canned vegetables/fruits, etc., because Jeff McManus collects them.  The money raised goes to help non-profits like the Ronald McDonald House, Shriner’s Hospitals, etc. Drop off the tabs anytime in the foyer of the chamber. We have local families in need of the services offered by these nonprofit organizations. Thank you for making a difference.

Thank you, Lisa’s Restaurant and Wyo Clinic, for your chamber renewals.

Entertainment in the Park this Thursday is The 3 D’s. It starts at 7 p.m. in Washington Park in Basin. Thank you, Tom Newman State Farm and The Basin City Arts Center, for your sponsorship and help.  July 25, our last one for the season, will feature Liam and Layne Jordan from Hyattville.
