Shop Small Saturday coming next weekend

Shop Small Saturday is Nov. 30. Please consider shopping at our local small businesses that day (and every day). Without our local businesses, we would not have been able to fill our Christmas boxes for deployed soldiers. Each item came from a local business, whether donated or purchased.

Wowza. Amazed by all the items donated for the troop Christmas boxes. We started with three names but now have five. They will each receive two boxes. Your donations will be so appreciated. Thank you to the most recent donors: Laird Sanitation, River Road Honey, Wyoming Office of Tourism and Big Horn County 4-H Clubs. Thank you also to Dineen Mueller for collecting art and letters from the students for the boxes. We hope to mail the boxes this week. Cards and letters from the community, books and magazines are welcome. It means a lot to them to receive these. We will likely pack the boxes this Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Chamber’s annual Christmas Bazaar will be Dec. 14 at the fairgrounds’ main hall from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Little Shoppers is the same day from 9 a.m. - noon. We have been so incredibly blessed with donations for that. We have at least 20 tubs full of gifts and wrapping items. The challenge will be getting them to the fairgrounds and setting up.

Welcome aboard new member, Heart Mountain Trading Post. They offer quality tack for all equestrian needs at affordable prices. Find them on FB.
