Six Manderson council write ins accept nominations

 No candidates filed for any of the three open Manderson Town Council seats. The voters in Manderson did write-ins.   

For the one two-year council seat both Aleta Driver and Jack Nielsen received enough votes to qualify. They have accepted the nominations and will both appear on the November General election ballot. 

Chris Saunders, Howard Applegarth, Thea Saunders and Tim Patrick were some of the write-ins for the two open four-year council seats. Each had enough votes to qualify them to be placed on the General Election ballot.  They have all accepted the nominations. Voters will choose two to fill the open seats. 

William S. Duncan will be the only mayor candidate on the general ballot. Rod Patrick did receive enough write-in votes to qualify but did not accept the nomination.
