Small Business Development Center provides grant information for small businesses

There is a stranger out there who still remembers you because you were kind to them when no one else was. Never stop being that person. 

Thank you Devan from Wyoming Small Business Development Center for the following: “The Verizon Digital Readiness Grant only requires applicants watch two of their content videos to qualify. The application is not challenging and takes approximately 45 minutes. All around, the time commitment is about 2.5 hours to apply for the $10,000 competitive award. Owners of small businesses are eligible. Non-profit business owners are not eligible. Applications are due Dec. 13, 2024. As always, Wyoming SBDC Network is available to support small business owners with their grant application at no cost.

• St. Andrews/Peace Lutheran Church: Free community Thanksgiving dinner, Nov. 28 at noon. “Get It Done,” Dec. 19, 1-4 p.m. Bring your projects and crafts to work on while making new friends. 

 • Basin First Baptist Church: Free Thanksgiving dinner, Nov. 28, noon. Meat will be provided; please bring a side dish. Soup with seniors, first Monday of the month at noon. 

• Basin Library: New hours starting Dec. 1, Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. They will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Storytime is every Friday at 11 a.m. Lego club will meet 2 - 4 p.m. every third Friday of the month. 

• Town of Basin: Home for the Holidays, Nov. 30, 6 p.m. 

• Town of Burlington: Whoville Village, Dec. 7, events 2-8 p.m. includes Little Shoppers, horse-drawn carriages, crafts, potluck dinner, and tons more. 

• Greybull Rec: Christmas Bazaar, Dec. 7, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

• Town of Greybull: Annual Holidazzle, Dec. 6, starting at 4 p.m. 

• Worland/Ten Sleep Chamber: Parade of Lights, Dec 6, 7 p.m.
