State Engineer’s Office to hold public hearings in Basin, Dayton
The Wyoming State Engineer’s Office will hold two public hearings next week to share information and receive comments prior to granting or denying six Instream Flow water rights applications.
The first public hearing will be convened at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at the Big Horn County Fairgrounds, 315 Holdredge Ave., in Basin. This hearing will pertain to three applications in Big Horn County: Buckskin Ed Creek Instream Flow (TFN 36 4/043F), Cedar Creek Instream Flow (TFN 36 5/043R), and Soldier Creek Instream Flow (TFN 36 1/044F).
The second public hearing will be convened Wednesday, April 30 at the Dayton Town Hall/Lucille Alley Room, 608 Broadway Ave. One application is for Trout Creek Instream Flow (TFN 36 2/044F) in Big Horn County. The other two applications are for West Fork Little Bighorn River Instream Flow (TFN 36 3/043F) and Lodge Grass Creek Instream Flow (TFN 36 6/043F) in Sheridan County.
