Support Veterans with green porch lights

“Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being excited about what could go right.” — Tony Robbins.

Green lights are available in the foyer of the chamber. The lights are to show support for our military. If you take one, please display it where it may be seen from the street. The lights were donated by the chamber and Valley Hardware.

Speaking of veterans, once again donations are sought for Christmas baskets to deployed military personnel. Donation jars are at Valley Hardware, Basin Pharmacy, Basin’s Market and Copper Corner Cafe.   We are looking to send them to soldiers with ties to our community. If you have a deployed service woman/man, please provide names and addresses to the chamber at basinchamber@gmail.com or bring them to the newspaper.  Items needed are female and male grooming items, sunscreen, reading materials, pens/pencils, notebooks, puzzle books, snacks (nothing that can spoil or melt). The items may be dropped off at the Riverside Schools or the chamber.

We need help bringing totes for Little Shoppers up from the basement and into the chamber. It can be overwhelming so instead of doing it in one day, please let us know if you can come move a few boxes. The stairs are quite fun and not for the faint of heart.
