Ten Sleep Pioneers, aka Riverside Rebels play Homecoming against Kaycee

The Riverside Rebels played against Kaycee on Thursday, Oct 1 in Ten Sleep as the Ten Sleep Lady Pioneers for Ten Sleep’s homecoming game, and the crowd couldn’t have been more pleased. The cheering section consisted of parents, grandparents, and a boisterous Ten Sleep football team that made sure everyone knew they were proud of their girls. 

When they were ready to play and the warmups came off, the team were donning Ten Sleep jerseys, which only made the crowd cheer louder.

The first set was an exciting one with good competition, and the girls came away with a win on that set. They were unable to grab another win that night and ultimately fell to Kaycee. Their final scores were 25-20 (w), 14-25, 16-25, and 16-25.

The Rebels then went on to play in Bridger on Saturday, Oct 3rd, at the Wayne Moorman Memorial Tournament. Pool play started at 9:00 a.m., then went on to Bracket play later in the day. The Rebels lost to Park City, 2-0, with scores of 20-12 and 20-9. They went on to play Broadview/Lavina and lost to them 2-0, with scores of 20-6, and 20-5. Their closest match in pool play was against Forsyth. They came close in the first set with a score of 20-18, and the second set with a score of 20-12.

In bracket play, The Rebels squared up against Roberts again, this time taking the win with scores of 25-22, and 25-8. They played Absarokee after that and were eliminated when they lost 25-14, and 25-11.
