Thomas Edward “Ed” Robinson

Thomas Edward “Ed” Robinson, 81, of Shell, Wyo., (formerly of Millington, Maryland) passed away peacefully Sept. 18, 2025, at Billings Clinic Hospital.

Born Dec. 30, 1943, in Chestertown, Md., he was the son of the late William Noland Robinson and Ruby Mae King Robinson. Ed dedicated his life to public service and community. A U.S. Navy veteran and Galena High School graduate, he earned an associate’s degree in accounting and served in several roles, including Kent County administrator and multiple-term mayor of Millington. He was inducted into the Maryland Municipal League Hall of Fame and served as MML president.

He was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church and active in the Lions Club, Moose, American Legion, and Millington Volunteer Fire Department. His legacy includes decades of civic leadership, a love for the Chesapeake Bay and unwavering devotion to his family.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, E. Lucille Robinson; children Dawn Snyder (Larry) and Brooks Robinson; grandchildren Jeremy Pouska (Tara) and Shannon Brown (Lance); nine great-grandchildren and sister Betty Ann Thorpe.

A visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home in Millington, Md. A funeral service followed Friday, Oct. 3, at noon at the same location, with interment afterward at Asbury Cemetery in Millington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, the Millington Lions Club Scholarship Program or the Millington Community Fire Department.
