Had a great chamber meeting last week. More than 15 people came. A lot of interaction among attendees that included opportunities to work together and/or to learn about services/events.

As mentioned previously, I’m headed to Cheyenne in February. One day will be dedicated to meeting with our five elected officials (Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor and Superintendent of Schools) to talk about potential grant funding for Big Horn County. Hopefully, no snowstorms this year.

Public Health is hosting Play, Learn and Grow Together on Wednesdays, 10:30 -11:30 a.m. at Greybull Rec. Activities for children 18-36 months. 

• Basin Rec: Archery class Fridays 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Second-12th grade $13 per kid per class. Call Garett Thomas (307) 431-7796. Kids N Canvas is a fun, after-school event! February’s artwork is a Valentine for you. Surprise seasonal craft is included as well. Saturday, Feb. 3, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Basin. Golf simulator Polar Bear League. 

 • Big Horn County Art Guild: Call to all artists. The Guild is seeking artists for the Second Annual Winter Arts Gala, Feb. 9, 7-10 p.m. Mask Decorating Party-Jan. 26, 6 p.m. at Bob’s Diner and Bakery. 

• Bob’s Diner and Bakery: Open Mic Night, Jan 27, 6 p.m. There is a $5 admission to benefit Saddles in Service. Whether you sign or just like to listen to music, join the fun. 

• St. Andrews: Neat Repeat Store is open Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

• Greybull Rec: Dodgeball Fridays in January. 12:30-2:30 p.m. Just $2 per day.
