Variety of talent sought for 2024 Entertainment in the Park

What are you doing today that will make a difference tomorrow?
A few people have come forward to help with Entertainment in the Park. One suggestion was to move it from Thursday night to Saturday morning and to extend it to three hours instead of one. Your thoughts are appreciated. If we move forward with the event, we will be looking for entertainers of all sorts--comedy, music, poetry, dance, etc. If you are interested in performing and/or helping, please contact the chamber at basinchamber@gmail.com. Entertainment in the Park typically runs from the middle of June to the end of July.

• Basin Rec: Spring Arts and Crafts Show, April 6, 8 a.m. at the old high school gym in Basin.
• Big Horn County Fair: Second Annual Squeal Your Thirst, April 20, 4-7 p.m. at Los Gabanes Event Center in Greybull. All proceeds go towards building a new pig barn.
• Basin/Greybull Farmers Market: Indoor market, April 6, 10 a.m.-noon at the Basin Area Chamber.
• Big Horn County School District No. 4: Spring Music Concert at 6:30 p.m. April 8 in the RMHS Commons. Latte Lowdown is every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the Copper Corner Cafe. Come have a cup of coffee on BGH#4, ask questions and visit with BGH#4 administrators. The Drama Club’s spring play is coming up with performances on April 26 and 27.
• Big Horn County 4-H: Intermediate/Senior Horsemanship Clinic, April 19, 3:30-8 p.m. and April 20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Contact Gretty at 307-272-0576.
• Basin City Arts Center: A Basin City Arts Center board meeting is scheduled for April 4 at 6 p.m. Volunteers are welcome.
• South Big Horn County Senior Center: Cody Trip, April 8, 9 a.m. Veterans Rep, April 10, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
