The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
September 9 — A VIN inspection was done at Hart Ave.
A scam email was reported from a person on Hart Ave.
Resident on South Fifth Street is saying her neighbor has lots of trash, ordinance notice was given.
September 10 — Officer took information from someone at the Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC).
A VIN inspection was done at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO).
An ordinance violation was given on Willow Drive.
An officer enforced an ordinance violation given on South Ninth Street
September 11 — A Basin School Zone patrol was done.
An officer enforced an ordinance violation given on South Third Street
Two VIN inspections were done at BHCSO.
September 12 — A Basin School Zone patrol was done.
Officer initiated a community relation at the the Shooting Range.
An English Setter was found on Rue Avenue..
A VIN inspection was done at BHCSO.
Suspicious circumstances occurred on Hwy. 16/20 South.
September 13 — A Basin School Zone patrol was done.
A resident on Cloud Peak Avenue had a missing black heifer.
Possible animal abuse on South Eighth Street.
Caller on West E Street requested information about a 3 day eviction notice.
Traffic complaint on Hwy. 16/20.
A VIN inspection was done at BHCSO.
A welfare check was done on South Sixth Street.
Extra patrol was done at the Basin Boat Ramp.
Extra patrol was done at the WRC.
Domestic abuse on West E Street, husband hit her in the head.
September 14 — Officer assisted Greybull police department with a funeral escort.
Extra patrol was done at the Basin School.
An ordinance violation was given at the Storage Shed on South Ninth Street.
An ordinance violation was given on South Third Street.
An ordinance violation was given on the hundreth block of West G Street in the North alley.
A business check was done at Basin Town Hall.
Community relations was done by an officer at the Big Horn County Fairgrounds.
A business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.
September 15 — An officer assisted the general public on South Sixth Street.
Extra patrol was done at the Basin Boat Ramp.
Extra patrol was done at the Basin School.

3:14 p.m.: A firearm was found and reported in Basin.

8:47 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.
9:55 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.
10:28 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.
11:00 p.m.: Cagney Renee Hetland, of Byron, was arrested in Greybull for driving with a revoked license and without compulsory auto insurance while possessing a powered or crystalline controlled substance and under the influence.
Sept. 11 — 5:44 a.m.: A carcass was reported on the highway in Basin.
8:30 a.m.: A horse was reported loose on the highway in Basin.
9:27 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
10:14 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Burlington.
10:26 a.m.: Deputies assisted the general public in Basin.
10:48 a.m.: Possible fraud was reported in Shell.
11:32 a.m.: A traffic stop occurred in Greybull.
11:59 a.m.: A welfare check was conducted in Basin.
3:09 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
8:03 p.m.: Deputies assisted the general public in Manderson.

7:33 p.m.: A sheep flock was reportedly crossing the road in Greybull.
11:10 p.m.: Deputies participated in community relations in Greybull.
Sept. 15 — 2:17 a.m.: An accidental 9-1-1 call was received in Shell.
7:11 a.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Greybull.
7:25 a.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A citation was issued.
8:14 a.m.: A resident reported their intention to drive roughly 100 head of cattle on the road east toward Greybull.
2:00 p.m.: Deputies received a request for paperwork from a member of the public.
6:06 p.m.: Deputies assisted the public.
7:09 p.m: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Basin. A warning was issued.
8:02 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Emblem. A warning was issued.
