The following calls were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office: (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the Court:

Feb. 10 — 6:29 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

10:15 a.m.: Deputies assisted the Greybull Police Department.

11:14 a.m.: Deputies responded to a fire alarm that was triggered in Emblem.

11:34 a.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist I Emblem.

1:50 p.m.: Aubry Jolley, of Lovell, was arrested in Basin on charges of theft.

4:10 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Burlington.

5:00 p.m.: Deputies conducted a welfare check in Burlington.

5:16 p.m.: A caller in Manderson reported credit card fraud to deputies.

10:52 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported in Burlington.

Feb. 11 — 12:14 a.m.: Samuel True Makovsky, of Greybull, was arrested in Basin for failure to pay.

7:59 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Basin.

10:22 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

1:22 p.m.: A caller in Basin reported a pickup truck being driven with a blown out tire south of town.

1:40 p.m.: Deputies assisted the public in Manderson.

7:21 p.m.: Deputies investigated reports of suspicious circumstances in Shell.

9:17 p.m.: A caller in Greybull reported large pieces of metal in the road on Highway 14-16-20. A deputy subsequently removed the hazard.

9:40 p.m.: Deputies investigated an abandoned vehicle in Greybull. It was tagged by Highway Patrol.

Feb. 12 — 8:10 a.m.: Deputies conducted a welfare check in Basin.

8:24 a.m.: Deputies participated in community relations at First Baptist Church on Highway 30 in Basin. Follow-up was requested.

8:48 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

9:53 a.m.: A rapid 9-1-1 call was received in Shell.

10:26 a.m.: Grady Gerritt Swiftney, of Greybull, had his bond revoked.

11:50 a.m.: A caller in Basin reported they were without water. Utility workers confirmed a line break and initiated repair.

1:04 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Greybull.

1:57 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

3:31 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.

Feb. 12 — 8:42 p.m.: Deputies received reports of a person walking down Highway 14-16-20 in Greybull.

9:27 a.m.: Deputies encountered a male subject who was reportedly walking across America.

10:30 a.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Greybull. The vehicle was subsequently tagged.

10:33 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Greybull.

10:47 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

1:26 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

2:01 p.m.: Deputies conducted a welfare check in Basin.

3:22 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

3:53 p.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Greybull. The motorist declined assistance as he had only stopped to use his phone.

6:23 p.m.: Deputies received reports of a man walking down Highway 14-16-20 in Emblem and Burlington.

Feb. 14 — 2:13 p.m.: In Basin, a caller reported that two dogs had jumped her fence and injured her sheep and chickens. 

3:42 p.m.: Sheep were reportedly on the highway in Basin.

4:37 p.m.: Two dogs were reportedly running loose near the golf course.

10:41 p.m.: An open 9-1-1 call was received in Burlington.

Feb. 15 — 9:48 a.m.: Trespassing was reported in Otto.

5:09 p.m.: An accident involving a vehicle and a deer was reported in Manderson.

5:56 p.m.: Vandalism was reported in Greybull.

7:23 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

Feb. 16 — 1:39 a.m.: Deputies conducted a welfare check in Shell.

10:23 a.m.: A caller in Manderson reported having received suspicious phone calls.

5:08 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.

9:54 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

February 10 — A VIN inspection was done at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO). 

A dog at large was reported on North Seventh Street 

February 11 — An officer assisted the general public. 

Suspicious circumstances occurred at the school. 

An assault was reported on U.S. Highway 16/20 

Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery. 

Extra patrol was done at schools.

February 12  — A business check was done at Basin’s Market

An officer took a report on a larceny. 

A business check was done at Basin Town Hall.  

February 13  — A business check was done at the Family Dollar. 

A business check was done at The Overland. 

February 14    A small black dog and a Rottweiler were out on North Seventh. 

A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO. 

A school zone patrol was done. 

A resident on Golf Course Road reported a small black dog and a large black dog injured her sheep and chickens. 

A business check was done at The Overland. 

An officer assisted Greybull P.D. 

February 15 — A business check was done at Basin’s Market  

Extra patrol was done at the schools. 

A business check was done at The Overland. 

An officer assisted Greybull P.D. 

A business check was done at Basin Town Hall. 

February 16 — Two black cows were on U.S. 16/20 across from the Dollar Store in Basin. 

Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
