Jose Luis Aguilar

April 29, 1992 – Sept. 15, 2014

Jose Luis Aguilar, 22, of Lovell, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, west of Ten Sleep as a result of a one-vehicle accident.

He was born April 29, 1992, in Lovell, the son of Pascual M. Aguilar and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Jose attended Lovell High School before transferring to Greybull, where he graduated in 2010.

After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served in Pensacola, Fla., and Beaufort, S.C., before being discharged in October of 2013. Jose worked part-time for Miller’s Fabrication and was currently employed by Mountain Construction.

He enjoyed playing pool, hanging out with friends, going to concerts and going on road trips. Jose liked being an electrician. He loved to be with family.

Jose is survived by his father, Pascual Aguilar, of Emblem; mother and step-father, Elizabeth and Erasmo Ventura, of Lovell; sisters Lydia Aguilar and Shanna Ramirez of Powell; brother Troy Joiner of Lovell; two step-brothers, two step-sisters and many extended family members in the Mendez and Aguilar families of Burlington and Emblem.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lovell. Burial was in the Lovell Cemetery.
