Christmas Bazaar Saturday at fairgrounds

The Basin Area Chamber’s annual Christmas Bazaar is Saturday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. It is located at the main hall at the county fairgrounds in Basin.
Vendors will have a variety of items from jewelry, Christmas décor/gifts, photography, and freeze-dried candy inside. Outside there will be kettle corn and interactive displays from the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Adults may shop the vendors while children 10 and under shop at Little Shoppers, where children may shop for up to 10 gifts for just $1 a gift. Paintrock and Greybull FFA members help the kids shop and then wrap the gifts.  
Susan Wynn, chamber vice president, said one of the best things about the event is seeing the kids come out from behind the curtain to join their families.  “The smile on those kids faces are beautiful,” said  Wynn. “They are so happy and proud.”
The tags for the gifts are to be made out prior to attending the event. Wynn explained this make the shopping go faster and less frantic. “It is a very important detail that the tags are done ahead of time. We recommend parents give each kid their own sheet of tags with the names on it. They can carry the sheet with less risks of dropping small individual tags. We will return the sheet with the unused tags.”
B & B Concessions will provide free hot dogs for the youth that participate in Little Shoppers. Hot dogs, hot chocolate and coffee will be available for purchase.
