Police Report

The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
January 22 — Two school zone patrols were done on B Street.
A person on South Sixth Street requested to speak to an officer about a scam.
A VIN inspection was done on South Third Street.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on South Seventh Street.
A business check was done at the Overland.
Extra patrol done at the schools on B Street.
January 23 — An officer provided assistance at the County Attorney’s office.
Extra patrol was done at the schools on B Street.
Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
Extra patrol was done at the Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC).
January 24 — Another agency was assisted when a white car slid off the road at Road 28 and Orchard Bench.
A VIN inspection was done at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO).
Trespass papers were served at The Family Dollar.
January 25 — A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.
January 26 — Two VIN inspections were done at the BHCSO.
A school zone patrol was done on South Third Street.
Property damage was noted on South Fifth Street when a person ran into a garage.
Extra patrol was done at the schools on West B Street.
A suspicious person was reported at the Stockman’s on South Fourth Street.
Extra patrol was done at the WRC.
January 27 — A utility call was received on North Eighth Street.
Information was given at the Basin Apartments.
A person on South Sixth Street requested to speak to an officer.
Missing medicine was reported by a resident of Basin.
January 28 — A resident reported a vehicle driving too fast on Montana Ave.
A business check was done at the Overland.
Extra patrol was done at the schools on West B Street.
