Sheriff's Report
The following calls were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office: (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the Court:
April 1 — 9:02 a.m.: Deputies assisted an individual with questions regarding a citation at Basin Police Department on South Third Street in Basin.
9:19 a.m.: Deputies on Lane 40 in Burlington responded to a possible scam.
2:25 p.m.: On C Street in Basin, deputies responded to an alarm at Big Horn County Courthouse.
5:00 p.m.: Travis MaCoy Kuhl was arrested in Basin and charged to serve time sentenced.
5:01 p.m.: Deputies responded to reported livestock abuse on Highway 14/16/20 in Greybull.
9:38 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 South in Greybull initiated a traffic stop. A warning was issued.
9:51 p.m.: On Highway 20 South in Greybull, deputies initiated a traffic stop. A warning was issued.
April 2 — 8:33 a.m.: Deputies initiated a business check at Overland Express Mart on North Fourth Street in Basin.
10:11 a.m.: Deputies at Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office in Basin handled an open line 911 call.
11:25 a.m.: On Highway 32 in Emblem, deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident.
12:57 p.m.: Deputies took information about a vehicle parked by a fire hydrant at BHCSO.
6:03 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 South in Greybull initiated a traffic stop.
6:11 p.m.: On North Sixth Street in Greybull, deputies initiated a traffic stop at Maverik Country Store. A warning was issued.
7:15 p.m.: Deputies performed a welfare check on Highway 14 in Shell. All was well.
April 3 — 4:18 a.m.: Deputies on South Sherman Avenue in Manderson responded to a traffic complaint about a malfunctioning railroad crossing.
8:46 a.m.: On South Fourth Street in Greybull, deputies assisted a utilities call.
11:40 a.m.: Deputies assisted the general public at BHCSO.
12:09 p.m.: Goats and sheep were out on Highway 310 in Greybull.
5:23 p.m.: Deputies on Lane 35 in Emblem responded to a fire.
10:49 p.m.: On Highway 20 South in Greybull, deputies initiated a traffic stop. A warning was issued.
11:31 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 20 South in Greybull. A citation was issued.
April 4 — 10:35 a.m.: Deputies on Highway 14 in Shell assisted Probation and Parole.
11:34 a.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted the general public.
1:23 p.m.: Deputies performed a welfare check on Main Street in Hyattville.
2:29 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 South in Greybull assisted DFS.
3:02 p.m.: On Lane 43 in Big Horn County, deputies responded to a missing dog.
3:45 p.m.: Deputies responded to property damage on Highway 14/16/20 in Burlington.
4:33 p.m.: Deputies on East Wyoming Avenue in Basin responded to a found dog.
5:23 p.m.: Horses were out on Road 26 in Greybull.
5:54 p.m.: On Highway 14/16/20/Highway 310 in Greybull, deputies assisted a motorist.
5:58 p.m.: Deputies assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol at BHCSO.
6:28 p.m.: Deputies on North Third Street in Greybull responded to a lost dog.
8:56 p.m.: On Golf Course Road in Basin, deputies initiated a traffic stop. A warning was issued.
April 5 — 12:06 a.m.: Deputies assisted Basin PD at a disturbance on South Eighth Street in Basin.
6:37 a.m.: Deputies on Seventh Avenue South in Greybull performed a welfare check. All was well.
3:45 p.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted another agency in Park County.
3:56 p.m.: Deputies responded to a tree on fire on Highway 14/16/20 in Emblem.
4:59 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 in Greybull assisted the general public with a downed stop sign.
April 6 — 11:22 a.m.: On Highway 14/16/20/Highway 310 in Greybull, deputies responded to a traffic hazard.
1:35 p.m.: Deputies transferred a 911 call intended for WHP at BHCSO.
4:02 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 14 in Shell handled a rapid 911 call.
5:19 p.m.: Livestock was out on Highway 14/16/20 in Greybull.
April 7 — 12:50 p.m.: On Forest Service Road 830 in Shell, deputies took information about an incident that occurred at a function at Antelope Butte Ski Lodge. Follow up is needed.
1:28 p.m.: Deputies responded to a power outage on South Eighth Street in Basin.
1:50 p.m.: Deputies on Rimrock Road in Greybull handled a rapid 911 call.
6:00 p.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted the general public.
7:14 p.m.: Deputies assisted the general public at BHCSO.
