FAM tour visits Big Horn County this week

“You never really learn much from hearing yourself speak.” - George Clooney
This week a “FAM” tour is coming through Big Horn County. This tour is sponsored by the Wyoming Office of Tourism. They bring tour operators from all over the world to Wyoming. The operators travel on a bus to get FAMiliar with places they can take their tour buses to in the future.
The Basin Chamber arranged a lunch stop in Greybull. The previous FAM tour stopped in Shell for lunch. We’ve put together a “SWAG” bag for the operators. It includes stickers, pens, and fun things including our new Basin Lilac City stickers created by Road 10 in Burlington. We’ve also included things to do and see in Big Horn County so when they come back, we can get them to stay a day or two in our communities. While there is not a lot of time for them to stop at sites, museums, stores, etc., we still hope we can wet their whistle about the Big Adventures in Big Horn County.
Entertainment in the Park is starting to fill up. It will start on June. 20. Basin City Arts Center is helping organize it. If you would like to perform, please contact Barbara Anne at 307-568-2458 or Carmen Olson at 307-568-2944.
Thank you, Big Horn County Citizens for Economic Development, Museum of Flight and Aerial Firefighting, Town of Manderson & Greybull Rec for your renewals.
