Worland to host Praise United Musicfest in August

Big Praise is among the seven area Christian bands scheduled to perform at the Praise United Musicfest which is Saturday, Aug. 2 from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Washakie County Fairgrounds in Worland.

Praise United Musicfest is in its 3rd year and growing, having attracted approximately 250 attendees the past two years.  The energy surrounding the event is increasing and the bands have hopes of 300-350 attendees this year.

The mission of the event is to provide a free venue to show unity in the community and the love of Christ through music. Families and friends will gather at the Musicfest this year to enjoy a powerful and energetic evening of music, finding Jesus, and fellowship.

The event has moved from an all-day event to a late-afternoon-and-evening event in hopes that families will be able to stay longer to fellowship, worship, and enjoy time together.

Praise United Musicfest was born in 2022 out of a vision that Big Praise had about uniting the body of Christ in the Big Horn Basin, at one venue, at one time.

Praise United Musicfest is free for all attendees. Big Praise has worked with the community of Worland to secure donations from many different sponsors.

Bring a lawn chair, shade, a blanket, plenty of water, family, friends, and an open heart for worship.
