Willett Creek project starting

To complete a road reroute, road maintenance, and a culvert installation project, Woodchuck Forest System Road (FSR) 226, Antelope Basin FSR 277, and Antelope Salt House FSR 279 are temporarily closed.

Woodchuck Forest System Road (FSR) 226 is closed from the junction with Antelope Basin FSR 277 to the junction with West Bruce Mountain FSR 278.

Antelope Basin FSR 277 is closed from the junction with Woodchuck FSR 226 north to the junction with FSR 314417.

Antelope Salt House FSR 279 is closed in its entirety.

The road closure is in effective immediately and will be in place until the completion of the project to allow the contractor space to mobilize equipment and supplies as well as to complete work. For your safety and that of the construction workers, please respect the closure.

The project was initiated in 2024 and is being done to improve access as well as to restore aquatic habitat in Willett Creek.  If you need to be in the area during the closure, please use alternative routes.
