• Police Report

The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):

Apr. 20 —A stalking incident was reported on A Street. The reporting party is requesting a CTO. She asked that an officer meet her at her residence in approximately 15 minutes. Follow-up is required.
A domestic animal report was taken regarding a missing dog on Willow Drive.

Apr. 21 — A found property report was taken for a set of keys found at the Big Horn County Courthouse.
A citizen complaint was reported on North Eighth Street.
An officer assisted a member of the general public on East Second Street.

An officer assisted a member of the general public on North Eighth Street.
A citizen complaint was reported on North Eighth Street.

Apr. 23—A utility call was reported on North Fifth Street regarding a leaking gas meter.

Apr. 24 — An officer assisted a member of the general public at the Big Horn County Sheriff´s Office on Murphy Street.
An officer initiated activity on South Ninth Street regarding a civil matter involving a civil standby.

Apr. 25 — An officer initiated activity at the Basin Boat Ramp on East B Street regarding a suspicious vehicle.

An officer initiated activity at the Basin Community Center on West B Street regarding community relations related to prom.
An officer assisted a member of the general public on South Sixth Street.

Apr. 26 — An officer initiated activity on South Ninth Street to provide a civil standby.

• Sheriff's Report

The following calls were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office: (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the Court:

April 20 -  3:07 p.m.: A wildland fire was reported on Lane 43 in Big Horn County. 

April 21 - 10:05 a.m.: The reporting party found their neighbor’s bull in their pasture on Beaver Creek Road in Shell. 

12:49 p.m.: A fire was reported at Highway 30 and Greybull River Road in Basin. 

2:58 p.m.: The fire at Highway 30 and Greybull River Road reportedly flared up again. 

April 22 - 6:49 a.m.: The highway 30 fire was reported smoldering, a response unit was cancelled. 

7:33 a.m.: A Reg Flag Warning was issued by the county fire warden. 

7:48 a.m.: A scam was reported to Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office on Murphy Street in Basin. 

10:46 a.m.: A livestock trespass issue was reported on Beaver Creek Road in Shell. 

11:36 a.m.: A fire on Lane 43 reportedly kicked up again. 

2:52 p.m.: A found wallet was reported to BHCSO. 

April 23 -  4:36 a.m.: A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported on Highway 14/16/20 in Emblem. 

7:38 a.m.: The fire ban was lifted. 

2:39 p.m.: A silent alarm at the Forest Service office on Highway 20 South in Greybull was cleared by patrol. 

April 24 - 1:24 p.m.: A caller reported another person was trying to flag them down at Lane 39 and Highway 30 in Otto, officers were unable to locate. 

7:15 p.m.: A cow was reported out on Highway 20 South in Manderson. 

April 25 - 7:08 a.m.: A one vehicle rollover was reported on Highway 14 in Shell. 

8:54 a.m.: A vehicle rollover was reported on Highway 14 in Shell. 

1:25 p.m.: A R.E.D.D.I. report was made on Highway 14/16/20 in Burlington, officers were unable to locate. 

3:02 p.m.: A suspicious man was reported banging on the caller’s door on Greybull River Road in Greybull. 

6:33 p.m.: Dogs at large were reported on Lane 45 in Basin. 

7:33 p.m.: A pile of dirt was reported as a traffic hazard on Highway 14 in Shell. 

7:53 p.m.: Community relations were conducted at Basin’s prom at Basin Community Center on West B Street in Basin. 

April 26  - 9:28 a.m.: A citation was issued in a traffic stop on Highway 310 in Greybull. 

11:20 a.m.: A civil dispute on Spur Road in Greybull was cleared by patrol. 

11:45 a.m.: A scam was reported on Horseshoe Lane in Greybull. 

6:23 p.m.: BHCSO assisted a motorist on Highway 20 South in Manderson.
