New business and new marquees

The Basin City Arts Center has new marquees thanks to a new business in Basin. High Desert Carpentry is owned by Matt Gesch. 

Gesch graduated from Riverside High School in 2019. His parents are Starla and Aaron. 

Since opening here in May he has worked on small desks, window replacement, trim and replacing indoor doors. “I do all sorts of projects from finish carpentry to siding to windows.” 

His specialty is interior finish carpentry, but he did a lot of windows, and doors while he lived in Pinedale. Much of his work was done in Jackson.  What drew him back to Basin was family, friends and he loves this area.
