Basin Recreation District brings Intramural Soccer back to the community
Basin Recreation brought intramural soccer back to the community this fall for the first time in many years. What a great season it was!
Three teams participated in U6, U8, and U10; many local children had the opportunity to learn the game, develop skills, and experience the excitement of competing as a team.
Throughout the season, our teams faced off against the long-established soccer programs in Burlington and Greybull. Our Basin athletes did an amazing job, showing tremendous improvement, sportsmanship, and teamwork along the way.
A successful season like this would not be possible without volunteers. Basin Recreation would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Felipe Gaytan, Sandra Wyatt, Erika Brinklow, and Amber Harding for generously giving their time and helping make this program possible. We are also incredibly grateful to the parents who manage schedules, provide transportation, and make sure our young athletes get to practice and games. Your support is invaluable!
We would also like to recognize our new sponsors who have stepped forward to support Basin Recreation. Their generosity helps us provide equipment and team gear, which otherwise would be difficult to afford. Local sponsorships play a huge role in keeping our programs accessible and affordable.
Most importantly, thank you to the entire Basin community for supporting this season. From our volunteers and parents to our sponsors and fans. It takes a community working together to make programs like this successful.
We are proud of our young athletes and look forward to building on this momentum next year, along with all the exciting activities still to come at Basin Recreation!
