Riverside Lady Rebels celebrate Senior night

Nevaeh Plumb proudly walked out onto the floor with two important adults in her life, Kas Nyberg and Greg Gloy.  She was honored with kind words, flowers, and gifts from her team and coaches.  She was the only senior this year on the Riverside Lady Rebels volleyball team.

The Lady Rebels played Burlington that evening, with Coach Hopkin commenting, “The Lady Rebels continue to work hard on their skills, team chemistry, and mental toughness as we head into the final week of regular season play!  We are incredibly proud of the growth, progress, and determination these girls have shown throughout the season.  We’re ready to keep pushing, finish strong, and see what we can accomplish together!”

They put up a fight against Burlington, but ultimately lost the set 25-17, 25-8, and 25-12.  Their final conference match of the season will be this coming Thursday against Meeteetse at 6 pm.

The Rebels traveled to Dubois on Saturday to square off against the Lady Rams.  Their sets were a little higher in points than against Burlington, but they were unable to beat the Lady Rams. Their final scores were Dubois-Riverside: 25-17, 25-7, and 25-15, respectively.
