Vaughn David Kestner, 88, passed away on Dec. 19, 2022, at Hospice of Laramie in Laramie, Wyo. He died peacefully with family by his side after a battle with cancer.
Vaughn was born to John and Virginia Kestner on Nov. 23, 1934, in Rock Springs, Wyo. The family lived in Bremerton, Wash., during WWII and then returned to Wyoming where he attended Worland High School. He studied at Tri-State University in Angola, Ind., and earned his degree in chemical engineering in 1960.

Helen Saban was born in Casper, Wyo., the fourth child of loving parents with Irish and Polish heritage. When she was 4, they moved to Worland, Wyo., where she received her education. Helen played the oboe in the high school concert band and worked at the indoor and drive-in movie theater, where she met a handsome young man who later became her husband.
