Anger, hurt, accusation abound. When someone disagrees with our opinions, they are labeled haters. Have we lost our ability to love even by measure? In conversation, rather than listening and learning, are we looking for the breath to interject an opinion-override demanding acknowledgement of our supremacy in intelligence.

I will be traveling to Texas this weekend to attend a surprise baby shower for our middle daughter who is expecting to deliver her first baby this summer.
As I was preparing for my trip, I began to recollect the anxiousness, joy and anticipation I felt while pregnant with her. On one hand it seems like I was in her shoes not that long ago, while on the other it feels like it has been a lifetime.

Dear Editor:
“To our Republican leaders: Get off your high horse. To claim that you are a better Republican than another because
you consider yourself as such is the Salem Witch Trials all over again.”
 After this year’s state Republican convention, ongoing in Cheyenne, and reading reports of the happenings at the convention, it reaffirms my belief that our party is on a slippery slope that will lead our party to an undesirable place.

I have seen examples of what a bearded dragon can do if they bite a person. Puff never seemed aggressive so I never really worried about it, but I hand fed him a piece of carrot last week and he dropped it, so I reached down to retrieve it when he lunged at my hand — I am assuming because he thought I had another piece of carrot. It happened lightning fast. I was amazed at how fast he could move.

FAM tour visits Big Horn County this week

This week a “FAM” tour is coming through Big Horn County. This tour is sponsored by the Wyoming Office of Tourism. They bring tour operators from all over the world to Wyoming. The operators travel on a bus to get FAMiliar with places they can take their tour buses to in the future.
