Well, we got Winter for a Week!

Wow, last week was brutal. It wasn’t as brutal as I have seen in January, but it was cold. I guess you could say we are in “real” winter now. Next will come false Spring: a time which fools us into thinking our winter is going to be short and sweet. Don’t believe it.

Being new to the area, I found it fascinating to see this quaint, elderly lady walking her little dog in town. I soon took note that she did this on a regular basis. And by observing, you could see that she and puppy were best of pals.

The oven mouse

Sometime back, I shared about a mouse that was living in my stove, particularly the oven. Well, we got that one, but another showed up and he was a cheeky bugger.
