In late 2023, Governor Gordon submitted his state budget. The governor described his budget as “disciplined,” “business like,” “forward-thinking,” “fiscally conservative,” “realistic,” “practical,’” “balanced,” “prudent,” “sustainable,” and “living within our means.”
The Wyoming Freedom Caucus has thoroughly reviewed the governor’s budget and would ourselves describe it as unaffordable and unsustainable.

I welcome the warmer weather; I always do. The cold was getting to me, more than it used to; I suppose it has to do with me getting older.
As much as I welcome the warmer weather, I have, in recent years, learned not to assume that it is necessarily here to stay. I remember from years ago making declarations as to how glad I was that winter was finally over. Then the cold came back. After having declared springtime three times, I stopped declaring.

One day, coming out of Greybull and heading toward Basin, I started thinking about the speed signs: you go up the viaduct at 30 mph; in the distance, you see a 45 mph sign; beyond that, a 70 mph sign.
For some reason, I thought that if you could see the sign, you could increase your speed, so you are already at the speed on the sign when you get to it. So in the case of Greybull heading south: when you hit the top of the hill in Greybull, you are going 30 mph, but because you can see the next sign (45 mph), you can start accelerating.
